I worked in the site office at University Hospital Southampton for 10 years, as a clinical site manager and operations centre manager. In this role I like to think I made a difference for our patients.

This new role for me as Chief Nursing Informatics Officer means I am the bridge between UHS Digital, our nursing and midwifery workforce. Let’s say I am the clinical person who translates clinical needs for the Informatics department. I work with matrons, all nursing staff from healthcare support workers to ward leaders.  In this role we will all work together and create conditions where we can nurture ideas to successfully incorporate new tech.

I work closely with our joint Chief Clinical Informatics Officers (CCIOs), Dr Mike Celinski, who shares the role with Dr Ashwin Pinto. Deputy CCIO Dr Michael Kiuber is also part of the team. Between us we will cover all clinical areas at the Trust.

I’m here, and happy for you to contact me.
